Trump won because of me. Not because of Comey, not because of racism, sexism, not xenophobia, not lies, not Russia. Not Wikileaks. Not because too many people sat out the election. Not because Hillary was the wrong candidate. Not because she focused on the wrong states or that she missed that it was a change year or that she was out of touch.
Because of me. Blame me.
In Buddhism it is taught the first step to fixing a problem is to take the blame. Blaming others gives them power, taking the blame takes the power back. Blaming others, you live in fear of their next move. Taking the blame, the next move is yours.
So it was my fault. I take the blame. I hope we can all take the blame. And then we can work like hell to fix it.
